Terms of Service
Effective date: July 30, 2026 · previously July 9, 2026
1. Acceptance
By creating an account or using TCG Guilds (the app, the web companion, or this site), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. The service
TCG Guilds is available on the web and on iPhone through the App Store, with a free tier and an optional paid Premium tier. The service changes: features may be added, altered, or removed, and occasional interruptions or defects are expected. You can export any deck as a paste-ready text list (on web and on iPhone) for backup or import elsewhere. There is not yet a bulk export of your whole collection — keep your own backup of anything irreplaceable, and do not treat the service as your only record.
3. Your account
You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information and for keeping your credentials secure. You must be at least 13 years old to use the service. We may suspend or close accounts that violate these terms.
4. Your content
The collection, deck, and want data you enter is yours. You grant us the limited license needed to store it, sync it between your devices, and display it to the people you explicitly choose to share it with (for example, a guild you join). We claim no other rights over it.
5. Guilds and trade discovery
TCG Guilds helps players discoverpossible trades: it can show that a card one member wants sits in another member’s shared binder. The service does not process payments, hold funds, set prices, act as an escrow, or participate in any exchange. Any trade or sale you arrange happens entirely between you and the other person, at your own judgment and risk.
Guilds may be listed in a public directory, showing the guild’s name, city, region, member count, and join policy to signed-in users. A guild admin may turn listing off at any time. If you ask to join a guild that requires approval you may include a short note; that note and your handle are shown to that guild’s admins, and the note cannot be edited once sent. A guild admin may turn down a join request, after which you cannot request that guild again for a period of time.
6. Acceptable use
- Do not use the service to harass, deceive, or defraud other players.
- Do not attempt to access data that has not been shared with you.
- Do not scrape, resell, or redistribute the service or its data.
- Do not use the service for any unlawful purpose.
7. Intellectual property
Magic: The Gathering, its card names, card text, and card images are the property of Wizards of the Coast LLC. TCG Guilds is unofficial Fan Content permitted under the Wizards of the Coast Fan Content Policy and is not approved or endorsed by Wizards of the Coast. Card data and images are provided by Scryfall. The TCG Guilds software, design, and brand are ours.
8. Disclaimers
The service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied — including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Card pricing or availability information shown in the app is reference data and carries no guarantee of accuracy.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, TCG Guilds and its operator are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim — which, on the free tier, is zero.
10. Termination
You may stop using the service and request account deletion at any time. We may suspend or end the service or your access to it for violation of these terms, with notice where practical.
11. Changes to these terms
We will update this page when the terms change and adjust the effective date above. Material changes will be announced in the app. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
